安全是Radical设计赛车时首先关注的。使用碳纤维复合材料车架的Radical SR9勒芒原型车必须在国际汽联(FIA)的监督下通过一系列极端的的挤压和撞击测试，才获准参加勒芒赛事。
2009款的Radical SR3 ，SR5以及SR8 车架均通过了国际汽联(FIA)对公路赛车碰撞测试。
